About us

LANO founders – a father with his two sons, smiling in suits in front of a board with the LANO logo

In 2007, we began an extraordinary journey into the world of wood by founding a company called “Lano Furniture”. The dream of a father fascinated by the art of carpentry quickly grew into a family business, with his sons joining the production of unique and solid children’s beds. From the very beginning, Lano Furniture was a place where passion and craftsmanship went hand in hand. The family business started in a small workshop, where together with our sons, full of enthusiasm and dedication, we created our first wooden children’s beds.

From the outset, we placed great importance on cooperation across generations. This enabled us not only to manufacture solid furniture, but also to build a lasting foundation for our family business. Each of us brought something unique to the projects, giving our products a distinctive character. Our beds were not merely functional items, but true works of carpentry craftsmanship, radiating passion and attention to detail. Together, we experienced successes and challenges, with each of us contributing our individual skills and ideas to the company.

Over the years, “Lano Furniture” has grown and expanded its reach across the entire country and into many European markets. Our products gained recognition among customers, and we continuously expanded our range by introducing new designs and creative solutions. Quality and aesthetics are our priorities, which has made us one of the leading manufacturers of wooden children’s beds.

However, the dream of running a business does not always unfold without difficulties. After many years of hard work, an unexpected event occurred. On 23 November 2017, a fire destroyed our workshop — not only our physical workspace and products, but also a part of our memories and history. It was a moment that tested our strength and determination. Instead of giving in to despair, we chose to look ahead and unite our efforts. The rebuilding was not merely about reconstructing buildings, but about rebuilding the spirit of the company. The sense of community among employees and strong solidarity enabled us to get back on our feet despite the adversity. Mutual support helped us overcome the challenges together as the LANO family, which we form together with our employees.

During the rebuilding process, a new vision for LANO emerged. We focused on even higher quality by introducing innovative technologies and ecological solutions. We created not only new products, but also a community of employees, where working at LANO also means creating history together.

Today, when we look back on all these years, we are proud of what we have achieved. LANO is not just a furniture company — it is a story in which every element matters. Our wooden children’s beds are not simply furniture; they are a manifestation of our passion, hard work and ability to turn challenges into opportunities. We are ready for many more years of creation, inspiring others to dream of beautiful, durable furniture for the youngest members of the family.
